At Hyper Island we did a project for the Bureau North Kingdom. The brief was to create a campaign and website for the clothing and lifestyle brand MINK.
The model island we built of paper, clay and similair stuff. The concept was to try to make a "creative resort" with a analogue/digital mix.
We really wanted the Mink Island project to have a high amount of detail.
Another Hyper Island project was to enhance usability and functions for Dagens Nyheters website. One of these ideas was the text-to-speech function, which would create computergenerated audio files from text masses in the news site. The brief was from the bureau Dobberman.
Concept for a class project at Hyper Island. One of my proposals for the class site layout was to use a retro-80's-tron interface. I wanted the user to be able to rebuild the site with the different "data-bits" and travelling on the computergrid for navigation.
The DN page where we have added some new functionality. We had a idea of making it more personalized, so that every user could change the layout after their own prerequisites.
This a a graphical concept and website I made for the swedish band Indurain (named after a old cyclist).
One of many flyers I have made throughout the years.
By making a handmade island we wanted to show the warmth and handcrafted feel of the products in the MINK brand.
This is a 3D illustration I did a couple of years back. The idea was to create a Art Deco/1920's inspired enviroment.
Pop art poster I made for a club.
This is the flash based webshop we did for the Mink Island project.
The webshop included a function where the camera dived down on the island and a clayfigure of the designer talked about his creations.
Another flyer I made a while back.
This was the introduction movie to the DN campaign, it gives the outlines for the problems and challanges the current website is facing today.
At Lund University I have studied economics with marketing and brand management specialization. The title of my bachelor thesis was "Changing the Corporate Logotype - Navigation Through a Renewal Process." The purpose of the essay was to investigate the motives behind a change of the company logo and to clarify essential elements in a successful process of change.
Another pop art poster for a club.
One of the first assignments we had at Hyper Island was from the bureau Great Works. We had to come up with a couple of solutions to increase the customer-brand relationship for Elextrolux. We had a idea of a application on the web, where you could design your own cover, you then ordered prints fitting the specific appliance, cut out for perfect fit by using the original technical drawings.
More pop art.
Both website and graphical profile for a photographer. One of several freelance assignments.
The antique (West-German!) camera-jib we used when filming Mink Island.
Another idea we had for DN was the seamless information. Newsfeeds after your own prequsits, accessible thorugh different media device. The user would be able to tag the read parts so the system could sort out them out, just displaying the unread news.
The campiagn idea for Mink Island was to encourage people to send in their own home made figures to Mink Island. The Islands would be broadcast thorugh a web cam and slowly it would be "inhabitated" by these figures. This would result in a internet-living art work or stop motion movie. Promoting the idea that everyone is a creative and making the user interact.
A flash animations I did at Hyper Island.
At the moment on Hyper Island we are working on creating a brand identity for a fictional airline. This is one of the first sketces we did, we'll see how it turns out!
Another picture of the Art Deco project in 3D.
